Ibex is committed to the protection and enhancement of the environment and the development of sustainable products and design solutions.

We were recently audited by SGS and are now registered to ISO 14001, the recognised environmental management system standard. This certificate, attests that the environmental management system is an appropriate tool for complying with the relevant environmental regulations, achieving self-defined environmental objectives and maintaining continual improvement of environmental performance.

At Ibex, we assess the environmental impact of site operations on the locality, neighbours and the general public and adopt appropriate measures and standards to prevent, or where this is not possible, minimise the impact of pollutants such as dust, noise, vibration and odours.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL TARGETS 2008

- To Reduce our Carbon Emission by 15%

- To Reduce our Energy Consumption by 10%

- To Recycle 80% of our Construction Waste

- To ensure 50% of our Construction Projects have
  implemented our Environmental Management System

We select construction methods that minimise the use of natural resources associated with the use of energy and materials and encourage clients, designers, suppliers and sub-contractors to adopt acceptable environmental standards in their products and operations. We investigate and where appropriate, promote the use of by-products, recyclable and sustainable materials.

We seek to minimise waste production and avoid contamination by any waste produced by ensuring that disposal is safely handled by licensed operators.
