A reception refurbishment.
The existing configuration was cramped and the space was badly lit, so the brief was to “open up” the space in front of the lifts, brighten up the whole reception, make the receptionist more visual from the street and generally modernise the space.
Existing column casings were removed, from our lighting consultants brief we installed a mixture of lighting to brighten up and add interest, the reception desk was replaced, new furniture and art work was added to the lift lobby, the floor was chemically cleaned, matwells were installed, new signage was installed at all 3 entrances, external stonework and glass canopies were cleaned and the area was redecorated throughout.
