| The project involved the re-cladding, partial extension and the refurbishment of the office floors. The building is a five story 1950’s building that is occupied on the top three floors and the lower two levels are retail units, which remained occupied and continued trading throughout the duration of the construction period. Works included the following: - Demolition of the main north facade and replaced with a new bespoke glazed wall elevation. - The formation of a roof clerestory on the north elevation. - The removal of existing WC’s and new WC provision to each office plate located over the redundant lift shaft. - Building out an additional 20m2 on the fourth floor level. - Removal and replacement of existing office area windows. - A new lobby entrance area, and the strip out of existing finishes and new Cat A fit-out. External works to the demised areas to Oxford Street and Ramillies Street. |
