The refurbishment of the complete building comprised of 8 storeys from basement to 5th floor at 4 Moorgate, from a shell to Cat A. We provided office space on levels 1 to 5 to enable multi occupancy of the building, floor by floor.
The existing main stair and lift shaft were removed and replaced with a new staircase and two new structural steel lift shafts for two new passenger lifts. The ground and lower ground floors were converted to a commercial shell unit with independent access. We also undertook a complete external clean and repair of the Portland Stone to the building facade and have replaced the existing sash windows with new.
