A new design and build project to be constructed in the space of a recently demolished old building. The Lovat Lane project will be a Aparthotel within the heart of City of London EC3. The scheme will consist of 21 one-bed apartments, a penthouse on the roof level and a commercial rentable space in the basement.
The sub-structure works will consist of piling, basement slab construction and concrete capping beams carrying the superstructure steelwork. The steelwork frame, designed timber infill floors with acoustic layers will be included for the basis of the superstructure. The envelope will be completed by several facade and cladding packages: Metsec system, colour render panels, brick slip panels, and zinc cladding.
Aluminium external windows and doors will be used and the roofs will be a Sarna roof and decking to the balconies. All apartments will be fully furnished and self-contained with a pod type kitchen and all appliances integrated. The scheme will also have a comfort cooling system installed to all apartments and penthouse.
