To refurbish the plant which supplies the kitchen are within the East India Club, the majority of the works are services orientated and will be carried out while it is fully occupied.
Some examples of works:
- Kitchen supply air handling units  & Kitchen extract fans
- New services and steelwork
- Removal of the existing plant room roof and formation of temporary weatherproof cover.
- Strip-out existing small power, lighting and redundant electrical services, fire alarm system in plant room.
- Modification of existing services to facilitate the installation of the new plant and equipment.
- Installation of replacement kitchen supply air handling units with remote heat pump type condensing units.
- Installation of plant room ventilation system sized to dissipate the heat from the cold room and walk-in refrigerator condensing units.
- Installation of replacement kitchen extract fans.
- Installation of new ductwork and attenuators.
- Chemically lean and flush new and reutilised Pipework.
- Installation of new power and controls cabling and containment, motor control panel, associated electrical equipment, controls hardware and software associated with the replacement air handling plant.
