Ibex Special projects completed the fit-out of a single storey retail (A1 Space) shell in the new Westfield Shopping Centre retail development in Shepherds Bush to create a vegetarian restaurant for Tibits, a Swiss based specialist food retailer client

The fit-out of the restaurant went over 10 weeks and comprised a new structural steel mezzanine which was installed at the outset to create a plant room and back of house facilities for restaurant staff. A concrete slab was then constructed to form three levels of terracing to the restaurant area and acoustic panels were then fitted to the soffit of the restaurant. For the Mechanical installation works, these included a new AHU and extract systems together with kitchen hoods all for associated ductwork was left fully exposed and sprayed black and the Electrical installation included new feature lighting supplied by client. To the rear of the building, toilet blocks and kitchens were formed and in the kitchen cold rooms & freezers and steel staircase were included in our fit-out package. Decorations included specialist wall and floor finishes.

Finally, Ibex managed all client direct trades, which included the furniture, counters and food displays and kitchen equipment.
